Analysis on accuracy of rotor?locked transient?response?based vibration model for switched reluctance machines

This paper investigates the accuracy of rotor-locked transient-response (RLTR)-based vibration model for switched reluctance machines (SRM). RLTR is stator stimulated by abrupt change radial force when turning off one phase SRM with rotor being locked, total can be modelled as linear superposition series. An electromechanical built to clarify generation vibration, it revealed that some velocity-depend terms in would neglected leads inevitable difference RLRT between condition and rotational condition, illustrated through multi-physics simulation. A harmonic proposed quantitatively evaluate RLTR-based model, spectrums locked are compared predict relative error actual vibration. The influence turn-off angle velocity on also analysed. evaluated experiment 3-phase 12/8 SRM, results showed that: (1) impacted velocity; (2) predicted using model. illustrates mechanism modelling commonly used prediction method could lead improved compensation.
